Welcome to the New SP Bowling Tournament Website

This website allows you to join a community of bowlers and register for the SP Bowling Tournament, held yearly at the Gold Dust West – Carson City. There are two main steps, outlined below, which will need to be completed.

Steps to Join.

The first step is create an account. Click the Join menu item (located at the top of the page).

Fill in the required information. The Team Name field is optional and can be completed later. Please note that there are options to show your information to other bowlers. Click the CHANGE menu item, to alter what information that you would like to share with other members. Once all the information has been supplied, click the “COMPLETE SIGN-UP” button.

Check your email (including the SPAM folder) for a registration email. Click ACTIVE in the email (or cut and paste the activation key).

This process will allow you to login into the website and register a team for the tournament. You do not have to register a team to be a part of the SP Bowling community. We encourage bowlers on the teams to join the website, so that they can interact with other bowlers and be a part of the SP Bowling community.

Registering a Team for the tournament.

Once you have logged into the website, please click REGISTER on the tournament you would like to participate in. Note: You will need the complete details of your team members. Names, email address, phone number, bowling card numbers, average scores and postal address along with which time and date they would like to bowl. Note:  Adding team members will not register them on the website. They will have to join individually.

Please complete the registration process. Note: If you have less than 6 players, click the NEXT button to advance to the next screen.  If you do not have all the required information, you can click SAVE and return to it later by clicking the YOUR ACCOUNT menu item on the top of the page.

Once all the team members’ information has been completed, the last page will ask for details about the person registering the team, including the option to register more teams. It will also show the cost of the team registration.


The chosen payment method is PayPal. This company was selected because of its security and standards. You can use your credit or debit card to pay via PayPal. If you receive any prize money for the tournament, it will be paid via PayPal.

Once you have filled out the payment details, you will be directed to the PayPal website to complete the payment.

You will also have the opportunity to create a PayPal account, which is recommended, (We pay out any cash prizes via PayPal also).
